SAINT JOHN – Chris and Adrian Nadeau, two experienced entrepreneurs and well known local hockey players, announced today that the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation has completed an equity investment in YourTeam Online, their emerging Internet technology company. The company creates effective web advertising opportunities through the development of online sports communities that feature innovative team management and communication tools.
“The Foundation’s investment is an integral key to advancing our product nationally and internationally” said Chris Nadeau, President of YourTeam Online. “NBIF has provided our company with the capital that we require to advance our marketing and sales efforts, and take the company to the next level of growth.”

Since YourTeam Online first unveiled its product to the local hockey community in the fall of 2006, it has grown steadily and now has over 250 teams signed up on www.yourteamonline.ca. The company plans to use the NBIF investment to expand its product offering into other sports.
