Legendary football coach Knute Rockne gave his "Win One for the Gipper" speech to the Notre Dame players at halftime of the 1928 game against Army. As it turns out, Rockne’s speech inspired the Fighting Irish to go on beat the Cadets from West Point, further cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s all-time greatest coaches.
