Self-proclaimed 'geeks' have turned a hobby into a important fundraiser

Trevor MacAusland calls himself a geek. While working in the IT industry, Trevor has found a way to maximize his playtime so that his hobbies have become an integral part of his day job.
What began as common pick up hockey games between friends, has now turned into a 16-team charitable tournament called Geeks on Ice.
"Geeks on Ice is an ice hockey tournament with IT Professionals competing to raise money for technical equipment and support throughout community organizations," explains the self titled geek....(continue)
